If you are planning a visit to the Scottish highlands why not spend a few days in the picturesque highland village of Carrbridge. The village can be found nestling in the very heart of the highlands in Badenoch and Strathspey, 'Monarch of the Glen Country' seven miles north of Aviemore in the Carngorms National Park. Carrbridge is also home to 'The Scottish Open Chainsaw Carving Championships' 'The World Porridge Making Championships' and 'Carrbridge Live' a weeklong festival of music.
