Gallery Exhibitions etc

Jeff is just back from an interesting sailing trip from Lossiemouth to Oban. 8 days of gales out of 10. He got plenty of sketching done without any seasickness and is planning to do a series of paintings and prints from his expliots. Over the next couple of years he is trying to sail aroung the UK and produce lots of original work based on his sketches.

The gallery is planning a series of themed exhibitions of paintings during 2011 such as 'Bothies and Bens', 'Lossiemouth to Oban Sailing Trip', 'The West Highland Way', 'Around the Cairngorms' etc. Further details will be announced as soon as available.

New Projects

We are producing some stunning Dicroic Glass Jewellery for sale in the gallery. Jeff and Amy have been busy and we have a good stock at present. Its currently for sale to callers at the gallery only but we will be adding a new page to the website in due course.

Our chainsaw carvings are proving popular, Alice cant keep up with demand for owls and squirrels at the moment and Jeff has a couple of orders for 'owl and pussycat' benches waiting to be done when time permits.

Jeff has started a blog to keep everyone informed about what is going on, when its going on, and where its going on in the life of an artist and will include hints, tips and ideas along with general muttering and rambling on. Its now got its own heading in the lower titles of the webpages. Please check it out.
