Amy’s handmade jewellery is made in a kiln in two mediums; fused dichroic glass and porcelain. Each piece is created individually and is therefore completely unique in subtle ways due to the handmade process. All ear posts are Sterling Silver and other findings are silver plated or Sterling Silver.
Dichroic glass is glass which has been treated with oxides to make it look different colours depending on which way the light shines across the surface and the angle you look at it. Dichroic glass is usually intense and vibrant and when layered and fused together in jewellery making it creates amazing depth and colours which dance and shimmer.
